Soleia Nice orange liqueur is the pure expression of the flavor of oranges from the Côte d’Azur

The Côte d’Azur is a terroir of Citrus fruits and especially Bigarade orange trees, or bitter oranges. These trees grow naturally under the influence of this terroir and the favorable climate. The fruits mature in exceptional conditions and without any artificial input in terms of treatment or fertilizer. Here, it is nature that operates unhindered

It should be noted that in the past, this culture was the main activity of our region, mainly to supply the orange blossom needs of the perfumeries of Grasse. In 1912, the orange blossom harvest represented more than 120 tons compared to only 5 tons today.

The remaining orange groves resist the land pressure of unbridled capitalism thanks to the commitment of militant farmers who continue to cultivate these magnificent fruits rather than giving in to the lure of the construction of tourist buildings on these sacred lands. Jean-Noël Falcou’s orange grove is under the windows of Picasso’s house in Vallauris. This 100% organic orange grove continues the tradition of harvesting orange blossom for perfumeries in Grasse.

Soleia, a matter of taste

Jean Noël Falcou’s orange supplies the fruit for the production of Soleia Nice orange liqueur. At Soleia, these exceptional fruits represent the manufacturing secret of our orange liqueur. The entire manufacturing process is fine-tuned to preserve the full flavor of the fruit. Two rules are essential, rigor and simplicity. The fruits are put in vats at the time of harvest where they rest in neutral alcohol in order to impregnate this with their perfume. Then, after pressing, resting, decanting and filtering, we adjust this perfume with mountain water and a minimum of sugar, and that’s it. In order not to alter the taste of the fruit, our choice fell on white sugar. Another point of detail, the alcohol content of 36% ensures the intensity of taste. All manufacturing operations take place on the Soleia site in Nice.

if you love nature, beautiful landscapes, and you are also an epicurean, we invite you to discover our orange liqueur. It is drunk on its own as a digestive and lends itself to the elaboration of delicious cocktails and spritzes.
